Q. Why do I need a filter cartridge?
A. High-pressure air always carries some water vapour and oil mist. Sent straight into your rifle or cylinder, that moisture rusts internal valves and slowly kills the seals — a filter cartridge stops it at the source.
Q. How does it work?
A. Air passes through the packed column bottom to top — the felt pad catches liquid droplets, activated carbon traps oil vapour and odour, and the molecular sieve adsorbs the remaining water vapour.
Q. When should I replace it?
A. Replace the media once the sieve is saturated — most users change it after roughly 30–40 fills of a 6.8L cylinder, sooner in humid coastal weather.
Q. How should I store spares?
A. Keep spare cartridges sealed in an airtight bag — molecular sieve absorbs moisture from room air even when not in use.

PCP air filter works very well and effectively removes moisture from the air going into the airgun. However, using it with a hand pump requires a lot of extra effort and pumping to bring the airgun cylinder up to the required pressure. It’s a good product overall, but not ideal for hand-pump users. Their won’t be any problem with compressor.
